and austin would come back

and roll us one so that he could smoke
on his lunch break

then we’d kick on the ’64
w/ the tv sitting on the floor
and we’d play smash bros til we got bored
or til it was time to smoke some more

looking forward to saturday
when the pentagraham crackers were gonna play
so i knew that josh and me would be
shimmying on the dance floor

i miss summers on hawkes ct
drinking beers on the back porch
and kitty would slip in through a hole in the fence while the neighbors fought inside
